For my 30th birthday, TJ planned a family trip down to Savanah, GA! I have always wanted to go there since reading the essential Savanah book, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It did not disappoint! If we had a longer weekend I would almost be tempted to say it surpassed New Orleans as my favorite city. It was very similar, only much cleaner. It is only a two hour trip from our house to downtown. We arrived Friday afternoon and walked around down by the water. We did a wine tasting and then ate a wonderful dinner. Our night ended with a fireworks display and a stop to the candy shop before calling it a night.
